Tuneable, race-ready geometry
The Firebird now features a steeper seat angle, for efficient climbing, a slacker head tube angle, for stability and roll-over at high speed, and a flip-chip that lets you adjust the bb height and head tube angle by 0.5°, to match your style and the terrain. Low for 29” wheels and navigating fast, technical, steep terrain. High for pedal clearance with mixed wheelsets and handling tight turns or climbs.

Adjustable suspension progression
Choose whether your suspension is tuned for incredible traction and small bump compliance on lightening fast, winding singletrack or extra stability and the chops needed to handle big hits, simply by adjusting your suspension progressivity flip-chip. Regardless of the setting, the Firebird offers an incredible, planted feel, thanks to a generous 170mm of front travel and 165mm of rear suspension.
Chainstays to match your style
The Firebird includes Pivot's patented Swinger dropout system, which gives 8mm of adjustment in the rear centre of the bike, depending on whether you select the long or short setting on the drive side, while the non-drive is adjusted via a flip-chip. Short chainstays deliver responsive steering and snappy cornering, while long ones mean a longer wheelbase and greater descending stability.

Obstacle stomping wheels
For confident riding over rough terrain, the Firebird includes fast rolling, smooth riding 29” wheels, perfect for navigating technical trails and steep downhills. The frame also has the capacity to support a mullet setup, so you'll have the option to change things up if you fancy doing more trail riding, for added manoeuvrability and speedy directional changes.
All the tools you need
The Pivot Toolshed is an in-frame storage system that keeps your essentials safe and rattle-free, thanks to a secure latching system and cunning use of space. There's an integrated magnet to hold quick links on the inner door and a strap loop to stabilise your favourite tool in the same location, plus two included Toolshed bags, ready to hold your inner tube, snacks and desert island tools.

Fly like a bird
Like its mythical namesake, the Firebird has hollow bones – in fact, all Pivot bikes use the brand's hollow core carbon technology. The frames are hand built, using clever internal moulding to minimise weight and maximise strength. Regardless of frame size, the carbon is laid to achieve the same balance of stiffness with compliance, ensuring riders of all builds will enjoy the same benefits.
